Field Shelter

Field shelter that does not require planning permission.

The Equine Dream field shelter has been designed to overcome some of the problems experienced with conventional shelters which includes high wind and planning permission. Our engineers developed the field shelter for horses with an aerodynamic arch, which is aesthetically pleasing and practical, allowing the wind to pass over the top and push them down to the ground. They are made with a steel frame with wooden cladding (Hardwood or Softwood) that is strong and durable and designed in sections for easy assembly or full dismantle. The frame design allows the shelters to be moved around the paddocks by means of a quad bike or small vehicle by just removing the ground anchor pins and towing the shelter to its new field location. This has 2 benefits, firstly it complies with the planning requirements for a temporary building, being able to be moved frequently. The ability to move the shelter with ease around the field allows for good paddock management, preventing overgrazing and from getting boggy soil.

Each module is 4 feet long by 9 feet wide and 9 feet tall at the peak. Typically, 3 modules are suitable for a 17hh horse or 2 16.2hh horses.
